A Letter From The President

Dear OIAA Adjuster Members

It has been determined that the Windsor Chapter of the Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association is no longer viable due to a lack of commitment by the adjuster members to take on positions on the Executive Board.   For a chapter to be viable, its Board requires a minimum of a President, a Treasurer and a Secretary with one person also acting as the Delegate.  After a canvas of current members, we were not able to secure confirmation that these requirements could be met.

As such,  the Windsor Chapter Executive has asked Provincial for approval to dissolve the Chapter.  In order for this to take place, the Windsor Chapter is required to take a vote of its current members in good standing.

A meeting is being called on Monday, August 22, 2022 at The Harbour House located at 9550 Riverside Drive East, Windsor.

Anyone wishing to discuss the status of the chapter may attend from 5:30pm to 6:00pm.  Voting will commence at approximately 6:00 and go to 6:30 pm.

Further details on the voting process, exact motion, and how to vote if you are unable to attend will be put forward in the next few weeks.

If you should have any questions on the above, please reach out to the OIAA Windsor Chapter president, Melissa Robb at 519-350-7246 or melissa.robb@rsagroup.ca
